In Every Grain of Sand

Live in the sunshine, swim the sea, drink the wild air. - Ralph Waldo Emerson

Usually, we take our vacation in September, rounding out the summer perfectly. Now that Emily is school age and Hannah is not far behind, we scheduled our vacation for June. So we spent a wonderful week at the beach and I must admit, I am still mourning the end of vacation. There is no where nearer to God for me than by the sea. I could roam the shores for hours, looking for shells, breathing in the briny air and thinking. It is the one place in this world where my thoughts seem to line up and make sense. I am anxious to get back to the beach and we are hoping for at least one more trip to our favorite destination before the summer waves it's final goodbye.

These are a few of my favorite sunshine shots...

Oh so beautiful! Looks like you had the perfect family vacation time together! :) Love the pix!

We're going to OC NJ in August and can't wait! There is nothing like His majestic ocean!

Separated at birth indeed!

Hugs,
Sharon :)

Heather,

These are beautiful shots...I especially love the one of the three "girls" (you're so pretty!)and the one with Daddy waling into the water...piceless!

Oh how I recognize that fair skin of Emily's...add some freckles...and there I am!!! :-)

Looks like a dreamy wek full of grand memories...and you captured it wonderfully on film!

Oh Heather....absolutely precious pictures of your wonderful trip to the beach! I love Miss Emily's hat!!! Now that is a statement on a precious little one's gorgeous red head!!!

So glad you time there was so special...and near to your heart! I agree....the shore has deep feelings for me as well.....as a youth...our church youth group took a missions trip to the beach every summer for a week...we did puppet performances int he area campgrounds...spreading the "Good News"!
It was a very special week for all of us..as we not only reached out to others but also grew deeper in love with our Heavenly Father as well.....we would have our nightly devotions out on the beach at times.....and I am telling you....it was powerful...hearing the majestic waves crashing as we prayed and praised! AWESOME!

SO happy that you all had a very precious time there as well...and that you re home safe and sound!
Love you tons!
Denise!
