Happy Thanksgiving

Blessings for a wonderful Thanksgiving.

I have such fond childhood memories of this special holiday. My uncle works for a local television station and so, he is one of the primary supervisors for the big parade. For as long as I can remember, my mother or my aunt always had dinner late, so he could be with us for the meal after completing his duties. He usually is awake for a couple of days at this time of year and so I can remember we used to wonder how long it would be before he would fall asleep in his mashed potatoes:)

I miss spending the holidays with my cousins. They are family, but they are precious friends that I am blessed to call sisters. I spoke with Lisa yesterday and we are hoping to re-engage the big family gathering for some holidays moving forward.

I am thankful this day for so many things...my cup runneth over and I serve a faithful, gracious God who has blessed our family in ways too numerous to list. May your hearts be filled with that same joy.

Hey. I tried emailing you back twice and both emails failed. Do you have another account? Not sure why I can't email you...this has never happened before.
